We had a great experience working with Wright Timberframe to build a privacy trellis in our yard. Their prices were reasonable and they were able to proceed to installation within a few weeks when other contractors were months out.
The only thing keeping me from giving 5-stars is that Wright did not provide any renderings or visuals of the finished product as other contractors did during the bid/design process. I do wish this was a service they provided for someone like myself who has a hard time picturing the finished product. I likely would have made a few small changes.

How long does a pergola take to install?
Most local pergola installations in Utah take just 1–2 days to complete once materials are delivered and the site is prepped. For kit builds, the timeline depends on your experience level. Most contractors or DIYers complete the install in a weekend or less.
What sizes do you offer?
We build fully custom timber frame pergolas, so sizes can be tailored to fit your space. Common dimensions range from 10'x10' to 20'x30', but we also build small garden pergolas and large freestanding outdoor structures. You tell us what you need, and we’ll size it right.
Do you offer engineered plans?
Yes. For large or commercial projects, we can provide engineered drawings and structural plans upon request. These are especially useful for permitting, HOA approvals, or multi-use builds. Just let us know during your consultation.
Can I customize the stain or dimensions?
Absolutely. Every pergola we build is custom-cut to your dimensions, and you can choose from a range of Behr stains (solid or semi-transparent). You can also select your beam end style, knee brace design, and even specify wood type, Douglas Fir or Cedar.
